GeekBeats is composer, producer, and sonic architect Samuel Abrahamsen - a career built on the belief that technology and music are the same thing. Starting on an Amiga 500 with a MIDI rig before anyone had a name for what he was doing, performing entirely live on arena stages alongside Ice T, Rob Base, and MC Hammer during the MTV Hip-Hop era.

A saxophonist turned sampling pioneer, he discovered he could scratch and transform sampled sounds using a keyboard the way a DJ works vinyl. Film credits include Lionsgate feature Step Off and Amazon feature blackhats.
